1. Introduction

ESTË Live is a lightweight DAW designed for IEM (In-Ear Monitor) mix management during live performances. It runs as a native macOS application and allows each musician to control their personal headphone mix from their phone via browser, with no extra hardware mixer needed.

Typical workflow:

  1. The sound engineer connects the audio interface to the Mac and launches ESTË Live
  2. Configures input channels, output buses (one per musician), and file tracks
  3. Musicians connect via WiFi to the mixer from their phones
  4. Each musician adjusts volume, pan, and mute for channels in their personal IEM mix
  5. The engineer manages the main mix (FOH) and controls transport/recording
