3. Installation & First Launch

Installation

  1. Download the .dmg file from the official website
  2. Open the .dmg and drag ESTË Live into the Applications folder
  3. On first launch, macOS may ask for confirmation: click Open in the Gatekeeper dialog

First Launch

On first launch, ESTË Live:

  1. Displays a splash screen with the logo and loading status
  2. Creates the working directory ~/ESTE/ with the initial structure
  3. Generates a default song with 6 channels and 4 buses
  4. Starts the WebSocket server on port 3001

Default initial configuration:

1. Vocals 1. FOH (Main)
2. Guitar 2. Singer IEM
3. Bass 3. Guitarist IEM
4. Keys 4. Drummer IEM
5. Drums L
6. Drums R

You can change names, count, and configuration of channels/buses in Settings (see Section 9).
