11. Click Track / Metronome

The click track is a virtual channel that produces a tempo-synchronized click, independently controllable by each musician in their own IEM mix.

11.1 Activation

  1. Open Settings → Tempo & Regions
  2. Select a tempo source (Manual or MIDI File)
  3. Enable the Click Track checkbox
  4. Choose the click sound
  5. Click Apply (requires audio engine restart)

11.2 Available Sounds

Sound Character Downbeat Frequency Upbeat Frequency
Digital Classic, clean 1000 Hz (30ms) 800 Hz (20ms)
Woodblock Bright, percussive 1500 Hz (25ms) 1200 Hz (18ms)
Rim Short, snappy 2000 Hz (15ms) 1600 Hz (12ms)

The first beat of each bar (downbeat) is louder, higher-pitched, and longer than the others.

11.3 Per-Musician Control

Each musician sees the "Click" channel in their Musician view and can:

  • Adjust the click volume in their mix using the fader
  • Mute the click in their mix using the M button
  • Add to favorites with the star to keep it at the top

The click does NOT affect the FOH mix unless the engineer explicitly enables it.
